We have a problem in America. Ron Paul is part of the solution. Become a part of it.

| A look at some Ron Paul facts. 1. Ron Paul stated in the first debate that he would get rid of the IRS. That statement alone should have made him the talk of the nation; no other candidate has stated that. Surely this is newsworthy, but not a word about it from our controlled national media. 2. In the second debate Ron Paul stated he would get rid of the inflation tax. A 1913-dollar now being worth only four cents. That statement implies he would get rid of the Federal Reserve. No one has had the courage to do this since 1836 when Andrew Jackson threw out the bankers, calling them exactly what they are, "You are a den of vipers and thieves." This sure seems newsworthy but still no follow-up from our controlled national media. 3. Ron Paul wants to get back on a Gold standard and actually have money that is worth something other than worthless paper. This country became the greatest and most prosperous nation on earth when it was on a gold standard. Again this seems newsworthy but not a word from our controlled national media. 4. Ron Paul wants to return to Constitutional government. In view of the many unconstitutional laws passed by congress in the last ninety plus years it seems this would be newsworthy but still not a word from our controlled national media. 5. Ron Paul wants to get special interests out of government. That's a novel idea, but then the media is one of those special interests, so we know they don't want any part of that. 6. Ron Paul wants to bring our troops home from Iraq . He also wants to bring them home from all over the world. Since no other candidate has ever mentioned this, it sure seems it should be newsworthy, but still nothing from our national media. 7. Ron Paul wants to STOP the North American Union . The national media don't want to talk about the NAU, at all, period. 8. Ron Paul, told a New Hampshire audience this, about the new highway: "They already have a plan for a highway running from Mexico up to Canada , a 12-lane highway with trains running in the middle. It's going to be an international highway. And there's been some secret funding already into our budgets to start this program moving. There's going to be eminent domain powers used to confiscate tens of thousands of acres to build this." The national media don't want to talk about this highway either; it may interfere with their Imperial one-world government controllers. 9. Ron Paul wants to get out of the horrible trade deals, GATT and NAFTA. There should be a little news coverage on that idea but still nothing from our controlled national media. 10. Ron Paul wants to get out of CAFTA, another bad trade deal. This also is not newsworthy to our controlled national media. 11. Ron Paul wants to get out of the corrupt World Trade Organization. Surely this is newsworthy, but not to our controlled national media. 12. Ron Paul wants to get out of the United Nations. Just another novel idea, the controlled media don't want to discuss. 13. Ron Paul doesn't believe in amnesty for illegals. He also wants to remove the birthright citizenship for illegals children born here. Every illegal that has a child here, that child goes on Social Security for eighteen years, no wonder Social Security is in trouble. You guessed it, still nothing from our controlled national media. 14. Ron Paul said, "We must end welfare state subsidies for illegal immigrants." That seems to be a sensible idea but still not newsworthy for our controlled national media. 15. Ron Paul wants nothing to do with one-world government. Of course, that is not a position our controlled media can support. 16. Ron Paul wants to really secure our borders. You would think that with all of the controversy about this, that it would be newsworthy but as you can see, nothing a bout Ron Paul is newsworthy to our controlled national media! When Ron Paul finally gets on a national news program, 90% of the time they do everything in the world to discredit him in any way they can including telling lies. Obviously they have been unable to dig up any dirt on Dr. Paul or they wouldn't have to lie about him. It's hard to find a poll that Ron Paul isn't among the top three candidates, yet I just heard a newscaster on CNN state that Ron was at 1% in the polls. What kind of garbage is that? A bold faced lie is what that is. If all of this doesn't add up to a criminal conspiracy, I don't know what does. Who wouldn't want a candidate like Ron Paul for president? With an outstanding record like his the media should have been all over him, asking how he intends to accomplish these goals. However as you can see, he is virtually ignored by the criminal conspiracy of our controlled national media. The really sad part of this conspiracy is that it is extended to the Republican Party itself. The Neocons in the Republican Party are doing everything they can think of to sabotage Ron Paul's efforts to restore this country to the Republic it was intended to be. Let's hope that the Internet has the power to overcome these Traitors and get Ron Paul elected. When you consider that Mainstream Republican Party figures supported the Democrat, Greg Laughlin that ran against Ron Paul in the 14th congressional district of Texas in 1996, it's not hard to see that even the Neocon branch of the Republican Party want nothing to do with Ron Paul. That leaves it up to We The People to see that Ron Paul gets a fair deal in this campaign. I consider this our last chance to save our Republic without an armed revolution similar to the one in my fiction book, "The Invisible Patriots - The Second American Revolution". I find myself being a very selfish person, wanting Ron Paul to become president because of his dedication to our constitution and his many other virtues, while at the same time I fear for his life. When you are talking about trillions of dollars the Imperial One-World Order elitists and the criminal International Bankers who own the Federal Reserve are going to loose if Ron Paul does overcome the lack of media attention and become president, you have to fear for his life. May God bless and watch over Ron Paul. |

In today's St. Petersburg Times, there was an article written on Dr. Paul . After reading it, I was almost dumbfounded by what passes for journalism theses days. I enjoyed reading the comments below the article critiquing the professionalism of the article. I felt like Mike Wagner from Florida spoke for everybody in Ron Paul Nation in defense of RP when he wrote to the Editor of the St. Petersburg Times and had this to say:"To the editor, St. Petersburg Times,I continue to be amazed at how out of touch the media are. Your front page article on Ron Paul contained so many half-truths and distortions that I don't know where to begin. You obviously cherry-picked your information to put a bad light on the most honest man in Congress. I found your article to be, in some ways, personally insulting. I got the sense that you do not respect me because I support Ron Paul.Let's start with some real facts that your article did not mention at all. In the past few months there have been 36 straw polls conducted around the country. Ron Paul has finished in first place in 17 of those polls and in the top three 29 times . He has beaten "front runner" Giuliani 31 times. Of course, there was no mention of the straw polls in your article.Your article mentioned the thousands of people who are organized through Meetup groups. You failed to mention that this group grows literally every day and there are now over 1000 groups with more than 55,000 members nationwide .Your article failed to mention that of all the candidates of both parties, Ron Paul routinely draws the largest crowds .Your article does mention the various gold medals that Ron Paul voted against, such as the medals for Rosa Parks and for Ronald Reagan. What it does not mention is the fact that Ron Paul offered to put up $100 of his own money for the medals if the other members of the House would do so. He got no takers . He voted against the bills because the Constitution does not authorize this spending, not, as your article stated because it is a "waste." Ron Paul regards this spending as illegal, not wasteful. If Congress spends the taxpayers' money in a manner not specifically authorized by the Constitution Congress is guilty of theft.Your article implied that Dr. Paul wants to eliminate all taxes. This is not true. He has a plan to eliminate the federal personal income tax, but plans to retain corporate taxes, excises, imposts and duties that comprise two thirds of federal revenues.Your article also stated "he supports re instituting the decades old policy of linking the dollar to gold and silver." This is not entirely accurate as his plan actually calls for competing currencies, some of which can be based on tangible assets such as gold. Your article completely ignored the very sound economic reasoning behind this plan. Your article failed to mention the fact that the paper money issued by the Federal Reserve system is the cause, not only of inflation, but also of our current credit crisis. Ron Paul's economic plan would eliminate inflation completely, allowing our savings to retain their value over time. It would be a tremendous benefit to those living on a fixed income. It would stop the current flow of wealth from the poor and the middle class to the rich.Your article also failed to mention that, unlike any other presidential candidate, Ron Paul has a live ticker on his website that shows the running total of money raised month by month. No other candidate has the integrity and courage to be this open about his finances.I have known Ron Paul personally for 20 years. I met him during his 1988 campaign. At that time I got to meet with him several times and had the opportunity to have lengthy one on one conversations with him. I have followed his career ever since including his service on the Gold Commission sponsored by the Reagan administration, and his recent terms in Congress. He is the author of several books and numerous articles on economics. I have found that he is probably the single most honest man in Congress. Lobbyists don't bother calling on him because they know they won't get any favors from him. He is also, far and away, the most knowledgeable man in Congress on economic issues, and has the best sense of history of anyone in Washington.Your article mentioned some of the people who support Dr. Paul's candidacy and strongly implied that we are somehow different from most Americans. It failed to mention that there are retirees (like myself), professional people such as medical doctors, chiropractors and other health care practitioners, engineers, business owners, students, etc. Our own local group in St. Pete includes a former White House employee. There are people of every race, color and creed supporting Ron Paul. There are Republicans, Democrats and independents. We are your neighbors. Look around you. How many bumper stickers do you see for any other candidate in this area? I have seen none. Ron Paul is the only candidate in this area with any visible sign of support at all.I invite you to attend the rally for Ron Paul in Orlando this coming Sunday, Oct 21 . Meet with us, talk with us. Meet Dr. Paul and see for yourself the kind of man he is. You will find that he really is Hope for America.Ron Paul for PresidentHope for AmericaBe part of it."
Change Party Affiliation to Republican to Participate in Primaries
Posted May 29th, 2007 by manystrom
Dear Friends,
We all want to see Ron Paul as the next president of the United States . In order to get there, he will first have to win the Republican nomination. I have seen him state on television that he will not run as a third party candidate, so it is vital that he win the nomination. This article from Wikipedia outlines the Republican primaries schedule.
Why is this important? As alert reader Verbatim writes:
As you may realize, there are many people from across the spectrum planning to support Ron Paul: Libertarians, Constitutionalists, Green Party members, disenfranchised Democrats, and of course the disenfranchised Republicans.
Many of these people may not realize that they NEED to change party affiliations to Republican to vote in the GOP Primary in many States. I think this information is important to get out as is instructions on how to change ones' party affiliation and the DEADLINE for each State. I think this information would be useful on every Ron Paul supporter website in existence, even if it is simply linked to.
Thanks,
VerbatimThis is the preliminary schedule, according to the article:
Phase One: Early Primaries and Caucuses
* January 14, 2008 - Iowa (41)
* January 19, 2008 - Nevada (34)
* January 22, 2008 - New Hampshire (24), Wyoming (12 of 28)
* January 29, 2008 - Florida (114)
* February 2, 2008 - South Carolina (47)Phase Two: "Super-Tuesday" / "National Primary Day"
* February 5, 2008 - Alabama (48), Arizona (53), Arkansas (34), California (173), Delaware (18), Georgia (72), Illinois (70), Michigan (61), Missouri (58), New Jersey (52), New Mexico (32), New York (101), North Dakota (26), Oklahoma (42), Tennessee (55), Utah (36), West Virginia (18 of 30)
For the later primaries, please see the Wikipedia article.
An early win in any or all of these states would be HUGE. So people in the above listed states, switch your party affiliation to Republican, if you're not one already. After you figure out how to do it, POST a message here to let others know how to do it/who to call/what office to visit and tell us how easy it was. I welcome any and all comments and suggestions below from people knowledgeable on this subject. I don't know a lot about this, and I doubt most people do.
After you've changed your affiliation, how does one participate in a Caucus or Primary? Can anyone who is registered participate? Sadly, I've never done it myself. If enough good information comes in, I'll take the comments and put them together into an updated article/guide and post it on the site.
The Meaning of a Grassroots Campaign
This is a grassroots campaign, and we are the grass and the roots. We are the ones that will make the difference in this campaign. Maybe Dr. Paul doesn't have as much money as some of the heavy-hitters in either party, but he has something that money simply can't buy. (Yes, there are some things money can't buy) He has us. He has our trust, our love, our support, and our belief. Wouldn't the other candidates love to have what Dr. Paul has? Unfortunately, all they have is money.Let us not let Dr. Paul down.
Thank you.
Michael NystromThe Only Strategy That Will Give Ron Paul a Chance
by: Joseph D. Lanzendorfer
We have about six months left to promote Ron Paul, or else this whole campaign is over. We do not have until the general election, because if Ron Paul does not make it through the primaries, then we are finished. We do not have until the primaries to get the ball rolling? we have until the primaries to convince everyone voting in the Republican primaries to vote for Ron Paul. Furthermore, we should not save any of our energy for after the primaries, because once Ron Paul is one of two candidates, it will be impossible for the media to ignore him. We need a strategy that will win Ron Paul the primaries, and we need everyone united behind it. We have the support; we just need to unite our efforts. When it comes to any marketing strategy, you have a target audience. The problem with our strategy thus far is we have no target, or rather, our target has been everyone on the internet who can vote in the primaries. There are three problems with this strategy. 1) It is too broad. 2) Not everyone who CAN vote in the Republican primaries DOES vote in the Republican primaries. 3) Not everyone is on the internet. I am not saying we should not promote him on the internet. It has led to some good publicity. Most people do not even know who Ron Paul is. With six months time, it would be virtually impossible to even make Ron Paul a household name, let alone convince most Americans to register as Republican and go out and vote for Ron Paul in the primaries. Most Americans do not even vote, let alone vote in the primaries. Therefore, our target audience is obvious: REPUBLICANS WHO ALREADY PLAN TO VOTE IN THE PRIMARIES.
That is where my strategy comes in. Operation: Republican Caucus Storm. Finding people who already plan to vote in the upcoming Republican primaries is easy. They are the most active members of the Republican Party. All you have to do is go to the Republican website for your state, and figure out where all of these people meet up. Figure out what you need to do to vote for Paul in the primaries, and get involved with your state?s Republican Party. For most states, this just means registering to vote as a Republican. Some states have different requirements or hold open primaries.
HERE IS OUR MISSION AND THE STRATEGY Use Google or websites below to find out where they are holding Republican caucus meetings and conventions. Go to all of these meetings and conventions and persuade as many people there as possible that Ron Paul is the man they need to get behind. The people who actually go to these meetings and conventions are the people who will be voting in the primaries. While other methods of promoting Ron Paul are great, if we cannot convince these people to vote for Paul, we have already lost. Most of the Republican primary votes come from them. It is for this reason that this is more than just a strategy? it is practically a requirement. It is for this reason that every single Ron Paul supporter should see this as a diplomatic mission that they are obligated to accomplish. These are the people who count and these are the people who are going to convince other people. We have the numbers we need to make this a reality. If everyone leaps into action and gets involved with the Republicans on a local level, we will be an unstoppable force.
